Erik Thedéen: Keynote address at OSC Dialogue 2024

Governor Erik Thedéen spoke today about financial stability at a conference organised by the Ontario Securities Commission in Toronto. In his introduction, he highlighted the need for sufficient usable capital in the banking system to manage risks, lessons learned from the corporate bond market in Sweden in connection with the pandemic, and risks arising from a new geopolitical reality.
